Domestic Partnerships have just been legalized here in the Czech Republic, so to celebrate, we threw this “tongue-in-cheek” gay wedding, followed by a GGC-style reception. Personally, I don’t get the whole “gay marriage” thing. I mean, why are we fighting for something that straight people spend all their time bitching about? For Equality? That’s nonsense, i mean, why would we want to be equal to a group of people that we are clearly already superior to. We should just call them “we-fuck-each-other-regularly-so-we-want-a-tax-break” unions…or partnerships, or whatever, doesn’t matter. Fuck romance! Here’s some pics of guys….going crazy……BTW, This in only part 1 of a 4 part series so stay tuned for more naughty nuptual mayhem!

I cut ‘n’ pasted this from etymonline.com. It’s a page where you can find out the etymologies of pretty much any word. i love it, it’s probably the non-porn website that I visit more than any other. Anyway, I got “gay-curious” the other day, that is to say, i was curious to find out where the word ‘gay’ came from, and here’s what i found:
- gay

- 1178, “full of joy or mirth,” from O.Fr. gai “gay, merry,” perhaps from Frank. *gahi (cf. O.H.G. wahi “pretty”). Meaning “brilliant, showy” is from c.1300. OED gives 1951 as earliest date for slang meaning “homosexual” (adj.), but this is certainly too late; gey cat “homosexual boy” is attested in N. Erskine’s 1933 dictionary of “Underworld & Prison Slang;” the term gey cat (gey is a Scot. variant of gay) was used as far back as 1893 in Amer.Eng. for “young hobo,” one who is new on the road and usually in the company of an older tramp, with catamite connotations. But Josiah Flynt [”Tramping With Tramps,” 1905] defines gay cat as, “An amateur tramp who works when his begging courage fails him.” Gey cats also were said to be tramps who offered sexual services to women. The “Dictionary of American Slang” reports that gay (adj.) was used by homosexuals, among themselves, in this sense since at least 1920. Rawson [”Wicked Words”] notes a male prostitute using gay in reference to male homosexuals (but also to female prostitutes) in London’s notorious Cleveland Street Scandal of 1889. Ayto [”20th Century Words”] calls attention to the ambiguous use of the word in the 1868 song “The Gay Young Clerk in the Dry Goods Store,” by U.S. female impersonator Will S. Hays. The word gay in the 1890s had an overall tinge of promiscuity — a gay house was a brothel. The suggestion of immorality in the word can be traced back to 1637. Gay as a noun meaning “a (usually male) homosexual” is attested from 1971.
Pretty interesting, i think. Funny that at one time you could call someone a “Gay Tramp” and not be insulting….Well, my gay tramps, enjoy these pix………………………

Ok, so along with the rest of the world, we also caught a little “Brokeback Mountain” fever (or maybe it was from Madonna’s “Music” album from like 6 years ago). Well wherever it came from, the cowboy craze was too irresistible to avoid doing as a theme for one of the parties. And, as you can see, it made for a fucking spectacular party. Put some boys in plaid shirts and cowboy hats, give them some booze and just sit back and watch as they turn into a bunch of horny bucking broncos, god bless’em.
If anything was less-than perfect with this party, i would have to say just that they could have gone a bit more subtle with the makeup. We do usually use makeup, you need it with all the lights, but as I said i think this time it was just a bit too much. Oh well, I’m certainly not complaining, this party had some really wild action. Check it out for yourself.
